We are committed to making our restaurant as accessible and inclusive as possible, and we welcome all guests.
We are located inside an old Victorian warehouse which does present certain historical physical constraints, however, we have made a number adjustments to the interiors to improve accessibility where it was possible, reasonably practical and permissible to do so.
In brief, our restaurant and event spaces are all situated on the ground floor and we do have an alternative entrance and bathroom with level access which are both suitable for wheelchair users and mobility impaired guests.
We are always happy to assist with individual needs wherever possible and can provide more information as required. Please contact us by email at team@edit.london to make any enquiries. For our full accessibility guide, click here.

Well behaved pets are very welcome. Any pets must be kept on a leash at all times and will not be permitted to wander or to block any routes between tables or to approach other guests. Please always bear in mind the comfort of other guests and our team in this respect.

THE BASICS
-
We use a third party reservation system RESY to take all our bookings. Simply hit the BOOK NOW button and it will take you there. You will need to provide your name and mobile number, and also your credit card details as part of our cancellation policy.
-
We charge a cancellation fee to protect against no-shows and cancellations with less than 24 hours notice. We are a small, independent business and we order and prepare our food according to the number of bookings we have each day to avoid unnecessary waste and labour costs. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice this creates a potential loss of critical revenue which we can not afford. We will always do our best to rebook your table but if this is not possible you will be charged a cancellation fee which reflects a small percentage of your expected spend. If you cancel with more than 24 hours notice you will not be charged a fee. Our cancellation policy is provided at the booking stage on our reservation system, and when you enter your card details at the time of booking, you accept this condition.
-
The start time allocated to your booking is the time at which we expect you to arrive. If you are running late you can let us know via email team@edit.london or via a direct message in Instagram, or in the RESY app. We offer a 15-minute grace period after which, if we have not heard from you, we will presume that you are no longer joining us, and you will be charged a cancellation fee.
-
The maximum number of guests we can accommodate in our main restaurant is 16 at one table. We have a private dining room that sets up to 12 guests. For bookings of 16+ we suggest exclusive hire.
-

Many of our dishes are naturally gluten free, and we are sometimes able to adapt other dishes to be gluten-free on request. Please advise our team of any allergies or special dietary requirements at least 72 hours before your visit and we will do our best to accommodate your needs wherever possible.
However, please note we are not a gluten-free restaurant and we cannot guarantee that cross contamination will never occur. Where we sometimes use gluten-free ingredients from suppliers, they also do not always guarantee against a risk of cross contamination.

Please advise our team of any allergies or special dietary requirements at least 72 hours before your visit and we will do our best to accommodate your needs wherever possible.
However, please note we are not an allergen-free restaurant and we do handle the following allergens in our kitchen: gluten; celery; lupin; mustard; tree nuts; peanuts; sesame seeds; soy; sulphur dioxide and sulphites. We have several processes in place to minimise the risk of cross contamination but there are certainly allergens in the air and on our work surfaces and we cannot guarantee that cross contamination will never occur. Where we sometimes use vegan and gluten-free ingredients from suppliers, they also do not always guarantee against a risk of cross contamination.

We operate the Challenge 25 and therefore our team will request sight of photo evidence of the age of any person appearing to be under 25 years of age when purchasing alcohol. Such evidence may include a driving licence or passport. We encourage everyone to drink responsibly and if we consider that any guest has consumed too much alcohol or is displaying signs of being excessively drunk we will no longer serve that guest any further alcohol and we may even ask them to leave.
-
We are required by the Metropolitan Police to operate a CCTV system. The CCTV system continually records whilst the premises is open for licensable activities and during all times when customers remain on the premises. All recordings are stored for a minimum period of 31 days with date and time stamping. Recordings are made available immediately upon the request of Police or authorised officer.
