FRONT HOUSE MANAGER
SUSTAINABILITY EVENTS + MARKETING

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Front of House Manager (Sustainability Events + Marketing) is one of two roles which work in tandem with each other to deliver the highest level of customer experience during service periods, while focussing on individual tasks at other times.

In this hybrid role, alongside the day-to-day management of front of house and restaurant service, there will be an additional focus on sustainability event management, marketing and customer communications.

Working closely with the Founder, CEO and Head Chef, this role will provide essential support towards EDIT’s mission to explore and promote alternative practices in the food industry and create positive change through raising awareness.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

·      The day-to-day co-management of restaurant service, leading and supporting the front of house team, creating a positive, welcoming, safe and respectful environment for all customers and employees

·      Expertise and quality control of all dishes, ingredients and drinks with a focus on provenance, sustainability and seasonality, advocating for our core principles throughout the customer and employee experience

·      Responding to event enquiries, customer communications and social media management, supporting with marketing campaigns. 

·      Co- management of day-to-day front-of-house operations, apps and systems including reservations, stock management, ordering and ePOS

·      Co- management of day-to-day health and safety of the venue including fire checks, reporting of incidents and accident management, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times

 

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

•     A multi-talented individual who is excited by our sustainable approach and able to contribute to the growth of the restaurant whilst maintaining the highest levels of customer service.

•     At least two years working in fine dining, sustainable food, plant-based cuisine hospitality, with supervisory or management experience

•     A passion and natural aptitude for hosting and customer service

•     An interest in event planning and management, marketing and customer communications and social media management, prior experience preferred but not essential as training will be provided

•     Able to legally work and live in the UK
