July Feast

Wednesday 31st July
7pm-10pm

Experience an EXCLUSIVE DINING EVENT with a special menu created for one night only!

Join us for the first in a new series of monthly feasts in celebration of seasonal dining and to raise funds for our charity partners Made In Hackney. We will take you on a gastronomic journey designed in flux with nature’s abundance featuring a range of experimental, seasonal dishes.

You will taste ‘July’ through a feast of snacks and appetisers, small and large plates, sharing platters and delicious desserts, with some individual dishes and others served ‘family-style’.

.

The menu will be a secret until the day, but some of the seasonal ingredients you can expect may include: Basil, Borage, Broad Beans, Cabbage, Cherries, Courgette, Cucumber, French Beans, Fresh Shelled Peas, Gooseberries, Heritage Cherry Tomato (Sweet, Chocolate, Orange, Purple Star, Baby San Marzano), Beefsteak Tomato, Kohlrabi, Little Gem, Flat Peach, Pickled Gherkins, Radish, Red Currants, Sorrel, Summer Berries, Summer Purslane, Sweet Cicely, Tenderstem Broccoli, UK Grains and Pulses, Wild Marsh Samphire, Wild Sea Aster, and more yet to confirm.

.
At EDIT we seek out the unfamiliar, elevate the ordinary, celebrate the whole and embrace ‘root-to-fruit’ preparations to ensure minimal waste.

We can’t wait to share this JULY FEAST with you!

Made In Hackney

Made In Hackney is a community cookery school and global plant based movement, on a mission to tackle food insecurity through free cooking classes and nutritious meal support.

NEED TO KNOW

Seating will mostly be on communal tables with some plates shared between several guests.
.

A full range of drinks including wine, beer, cocktails, non-alcoholic options and and softs will be available on the night at additional cost. Filtered water is available free of charge.
.

We only use the finest sustainable plant based produce available from small-scale UK farms, foragers and producers who use organic, regenerative and minimal intervention methods.
.

Seasonal ingredients are subject to availability from our suppliers and can sometimes change with a day’s notice, so we will not be able to publish the full menu until the day of the event.
.

Due to the format of the event we will not be able to cater for individual dietary requirements. There will be plenty of gluten free and nut-free options available, but this will not be an allergen-free event and we can not guarantee against cross-contamination. Our team will be able to assist with any allergen information on the night.
